“Regeneración” is the name of a pre-revolution Mexican political newspaper, a magazine of the Chicano Art Movement and a former experimental artist-run space in Los Angeles, all of which have contributed to the convergence of art, community, and politics—all central to the ethos of multiple cohorts of artists working in Southern California.
